The Lee Tangerine is a USDA hybrid (Clementine mandarin × Orlando tangelo) released in the 1950s. It offers rich, sweet, aromatic flavor with high juice content and performs well as an early-to-midseason variety. Its balanced tangelo-mandarin heritage gives it excellent eating quality.
At North Florida Citrus Nursery, our Lee Tangerine trees produce flavorful, juicy fruit with good cold tolerance for a hybrid of its type. They are a great pick for backyard growers seeking sweet, productive tangerines.
