The Rangpur Lime (also known as Rangpur mandarin or lemandarin) is one of the hardiest “lime-type” citruses available, originating from northwestern India and spreading through the Orient before being introduced to Florida in the late 19th century by Reasoner Brothers of Oneco. The fruit has bright orange flesh, a strong acidic lime-like flavor, and the tree is notably vigorous and cold-tolerant for its class.
At North Florida Citrus Nursery, our Rangpur Lime trees are valued for their exceptional cold hardiness and vigorous growth, making them an outstanding choice for northern Florida and other cooler citrus-growing areas.
